These pans are strong and robust, the Non-Stick is Teflon for the easiest release of your Victoria Sponge and Square Cakes, the corners are rounded to avoid that 'corner-crust' that you get with with Traditional Square Cake Tins, as this is undesirable with Sponge Cakes where there will not usually be Icing added to the sides, so hopefully we thought of everything.
